I would like to thank the Jr. Wolfpack organization and Coach Cerrella because without them this would not have been possible. I would like to thank my family for all of their support throughout my hockey career and helping me get to where I am today. Lastly I would like to thank my teammates, couldn’t have done it without them as well,” said Rivera. The power forward will be a big part of the Jr. Wolfpack for the remainder of the regular season as the Jr. Wolfpack continue their playoff push. “Jake has done a good job here and we are very happy for him commitment to Potsdam. They were his number one choice all along and he was able to accomplish that here. The SUNY is a great league and Jake has the ability and determination to compete at that level and beyond. He wears his heart on his sleeve, plays hard and that is all you can ask for from a player. I wish him the best of luck and I know he is going to do well in the future for Potsdam,” said Chris Cerrella.
